Our Island requires a little pre-planning

You will need to get your groceries on the main land before crossing on the ferry.  It’s easy and economical to place your grocery order online and pick them up on your way to the ferry. If you are using Pine Island Taxi please be sure to tell them you will be making a stop to pick up your pre-ordered groceries. Use the Publix Coral Shores Store at 3015 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Their phone number is 239-282-5515 if you have any questions or need assistance. To place your order go online at publix.com and follow the prompts for store pick up. Use the zip code 33991 to find the Coral Shores Store. Be sure to put in the notes you’d like your perishable items iced down in cooler bags. Publix stocks beer and wine. There is a liquor store next door.

While on Island if you have a need for more groceries, Shipt.com is an online shopping and delivery service. You can have your grocery order delivered to the Island using Island Girl (they charge a fee to bring it out to you). Please make sure you call Island Girl and schedule/pay for the delivery at 239-633-8142 - depending on how busy they are you may have to schedule out. Meet Island Girl at the Barnacles dock to pick up your groceries. Let your shopper know you plan on sending it to the ferry and would like perishables iced down. Coordinate your shoppers delivery time with the ferry time you worked out with Island Girl.

If you are interested in local seafood, stop by Island Seafood on the way to the dock. They will also deliver fresh fish out to the Island. Call in your order at 239-283-2525.

For the occasional oops item, there is a small convenience store, Mangos, on the Island. In addition there are services available that will pick up and deliver items to be ferried across for a fee.
